N, like in the games, is one of the antagonists and the King of Team Plasma. He cares very deeply for Pokémon, and believes that most humans treat Pokémon terribly. This is because of how his "father", Ghetsis, raised him. He raised him to believe that Pokémon need to be liberated. He is the "Hero of Ideals", and thus Zekrom's hero.
He should talk fast, but you should still be able to understand every word he says. I imagine he'd sound similar to L Lawliet from Death Note.
The Pokédex collects data about Pokémon... If the only reason you catch a Pokémon is to fill the Pokédex with its data, You are imprisonating that Pokémon inside a Pokéball for nothing. Admit it!
I'm a trainer myself, but I've always wondered... Are Pokémon happy inside there? How would you know? After all, once you imprison them inside Pokéballs, how can you hear their voices?
My name... is N. Now! Let me hear the voices of your Pokémon... before they're enclosed in their Pokéballs and can no longer communicate!
Alright, got it! What I'm noticing right from the start is that there's a lot of backgroundnoise, though I'm sure you noticed that on your own already. But I'll focus on your voice and acting for now! Version 1: You spoke fast, but clearly, just as I imagined... though, now that I think about it maybe eerily slow would suit him better? Well, you did what I asked and you did it great! I did, however, imagine his voice to sound a bit... gravelly. Version 2: Great potential. A lower tone while still remaining the tempo. I'm digging it. If you could somehow fix the backgroundnoise, you have a good chance at getting the role!
I know what I can do to fix the background noise issue. Would you prefer I reaudition without it? And would you still prefer fast talker or more slow? (I'm going to assume from what you said that you prefer version 2 better.)
It'd be great if you could reaudition without it. Would both a faster and a slower take be possible? If not, then just go for what you feel is right!
