Douglas was a kind man. A Father, A husband, a doer. That was before he lost his wife to a hoard of mutants. He almost lost his daughter as well before he saved her from them. He appears in one of my previous mods for New Vegas called Home on the Wastes. After the events of that mod, where he loses his wife, he travels east with his baby girl in tow. He eventually arrives at this huge compound and begins doing work there for a self proclaimed Drug Lord. In exchange for guarding the place, he would have a safe place to stay and raise his kid. Unfortunately, he befriends the wrong person and is fooled into doing a job that was against his bosses interests.  As punishment, he's locked in a room for several weeks, being forced to test experimental drugs. What's left of his mind is fried, and he's a total junkie. His daughter doesn't even know that he's her father because he's practically been like that her whole life. He mindlessly tends the bar, using four word or less sentences.
