Unpaid
Role assigned to: Mai Bear

Alisa Everett, 16 years old then 32 years old.

She is one of a set of twins. Herself, Janelle (the main character) and her twin brother Callum were all incredibly close in high school. You can decide whether Janelle was in a relationship with either her or Callum. Whichever you choose will not be available in the story as they will have died two weeks before the birth of the main character's children.

Alisa in high school was bright, spunky and rebellious. She was pulling pranks on bullies and popular people who teased either Janelle or her brother. Her and Callum were incredibly close, being almost inseparable. She constantly got into trouble at school and Janelle had to act as the 'group mum' of their group.

Alisa as an adult has matured out a lot after the loss of her brother. She runs from his death by travelling the world. By avoiding living in the town he died in, she thinks she can run from accepting that he's really gone. She also runs from Janelle as seeing her reminds her of what she lost, including Callum and her chance at a relationship with Janelle. She returns from her travels and acts happy go lucky with the twins and Janelle now, but it's a mask to hide her fear and pain. Alisa adores the twins and constantly spoils them whenever she returns from overseas, showering them in souvenirs.

The voice actor for Alisa must be able to do a teenage voice and an adult voice.

  • (Teen Voice) Jan! Over here! We were just discussing our Maths homework.

  • (Adult Voice) How have you kids been? Aunty Alisa has been to France this time! I brought lots of goodies!

  • (Adult Voice) Jan... I know this is hard... Losing Callum hurt us all... But it hit you most...

I like the variations in emotion and pacing, it's very nice. The quality is a little bad though, which makes your voice hard to hear as it's very quiet. It almost sounds like you're whispering your lines. But the emotion was great and I love the variation between teen and adult voice. Perhaps the adult voice is a little too deep? But otherwise, you've done a good job. :D

You are absolutely right. My mic was giving me the hardest time for some reason. Thank you for the advice! If i can get my mic to agree with me I'd love to audition again.
