According to creator PKM, he has an adult male kind of voice. It is up to any interpretation.
Starting tomorrow, you are a normal rank civilian. For the next step, you can choose either to form a rescue team or an exploration team to gain more ranks and experience or live the normal life you wanted. The choice is yours.
