  • Journal log: April 9, 2040. My name is James W. Thomas and I am a part of the United States Army. We are in a terrible state of war. A war that has brought on a mass genocide. They said that it would be over in a few months and we believed them but now we realize it is something much worse. Something  that would tear the very fabric of society as we knew it. Nations turned on Nations. No one was safe.


  • Luke? I know you’re down there. Come back so we can talk.(silence) Luke, I’m sorry that I yelled at you. I didn’t mean what I said. I was just frustrated; tired. It’s been a long month. I don’t think you’re a burden. I never did.



  • What do you want from me?! All I ever did was try protect you! Keep you safe! (starts to cry) You’re my brother.. And I love you!
