Kuro is actually the SHSL Necromancer, he plays the role of SHSL Medium so that the other students aren't afraid of him. Cursed since birth, he's desperately trying to prove he is not as evil as everyone claims. He has fragments of memories about what happened before the events of the tragedy and is also in love with Hajime Hinata.
He is also the narrator so expect a lot of speaking parts
*narration* My name is Kuroyami Kokorono. It's a bit of a mouth full, so please, call me Kuro. I was accepted into Hopes Peak as the "super Highschool level medium". yeah, my talent is talking to the spirits of the dead, It's a pretty useful talent but it's not much of a party trick.
*frightened narration* That voice rocked me to the core, I knew that voice and I knew what it meant.
The tragedy really did happen and my classmates and I were going to die.
*determined* “I… I don’t care if Hajime doesn’t have a talent! He was the only one who was nice to me! and considering how dark and cruel the world has become! kindness is a talent within itself!!!”
*softly* “Hajime….. thank you….”
