I have to say, I absolutely agree about actors not attempting accents in productions if they aren't confident with it. I can sooner suspend my disbelief that someone is from England but has an American accent versus someone who just has a bad accent; it definitely takes you out of the experience!
Hahaha thank ya, I learned that the hard way, on a previous casting call I was going for a Scottish accent on a character so I mentioned that would be a preference, but that lead to so many people trying to do an unnatural Scottish accent lmao. Additionally, I really like your voice for the character, you're definitely among the top picks for the role
