Ned is a freshman of 14 at the school, and is easily manipulated because of how naive he is. He's never really had friends because of how stupid he can act sometimes, however he can be smart sometimes. However, he chose to be "friends" with Buck, the awful bully at the school. So his chances of making any more friends are ruined. Buck takes advantage of him, and he just blindly follows his "advice."
