Red will not be featured in the musicals songs but will be featured in the full release.  Not much information about red but he seems to be like Mario but not. He really only lowers the bridge for Mario.

    A couple mornings ago, I roll out of their wrong side of bed. . . . . .and once I get my coffee, i realize I’m stuck in some freaky parallel dimension!
    Ive been hollering and flailing for days, but nobody could hear me. . .or even see me.

    You just blipped in here out of thin air
    I was thinking, if you can do that, maybe I can hitch a ride back with you?
