Jess Meyer-Crosby is an actor, playwright, sound designer, and director of theatre of various genres who has appeared onstage locally in Rochester, NY in Oedipus Rex, Sir Patient Fancy, Aurora, Votes for Women!, and most recently The Taming of the Shrew. Directing credits include Strindberg adaptation Maid Julie, Creditors also by Strindberg which was remounted at the 2017 Fringe festival, a staged reading of Darkness Visible by Gary Arms, student-written showcase The Chains, and a well-received original adaptation of both Goethe and Marlowe’s takes on the legend of Faust. Meyer-Crosby and partner Ben currently make up the leadership team of Grey Noise Theatre Co., a production company focused on diverse representation. Currently Meyer-Crosby is training to be an intimacy director for stage and screen through Intimacy Directors International.
