nortond1 for Orion
Orion is part of the Resistance and Sam's brother. He works as an inventor and eventual peacemaker between the two royal siblings and the rest of the East Squadron (the division they're situated in). He's just... a pure boy. He's too good for this world. He oversees vitals and develops new tech / learns how to bypass Archen Palace tech, and has never seen battle. Let's just say that I'm really looking forward to writing his first kill.
But yeah, this guy will be fun to play. I'd say he's more of a supporting character than a lead, but since he does play a pretty big role in diplomacy / I really like his character arc, I'm adding him here anyway.
[Rushing to catch up with her] Sam! Sam, what's gotten into you? Who's that kid?
[SAM: Wow. In the presence of royalty, and you don't even curtsy. Say hello to her highness.]
ORION: Wait. What? What's going on?
Uh, hello, your... majesty?
[Silence.]
Right. Silent treatment. Totally original. [He sighs. Then, he continues, good-naturedly.] Well, fine. Here's some dinner. Kat wanted to keep you hungry, but, I mean, we're rebels, not barbarians, right? [He chuckles. More silence.] Right. Uh... I'm gonna go over there now.
[Softly] No. You're not... wrong. I get it. You were trapped, and you wanted to get outta there. We all do, especially Sammie. [Pause.] But, Bec, Rebecca... if we're hiding from something, if we're always running away, are we really free?
