Nano is normally shy, quiet, and reserved. But when he sneaks away at night to lead the rebellion, he is able to be confident and even a bit heroic.  And even though he's crippled, he stubbornly refuses to take any help for mundane tasks, and figures out a way to do them on his own. He's smart, and that's what keeps him alive.

His voice should be a bit young-sounding, and medium in pitch.
