Phos for short, is the main protagonist and the youngest Gem when the story began. They are clumsy, spoiled, yet witty and have a flexible way of thinking. Later, they become more humble and mellow, but begin to fear the changes they are experiencing despite their initial need to be useful in battle. They also start to distrust and question Kongo-sensei.
