One shudders to imagine what ininkling thoughts lie behind that mask... What dreams of chronic and sustained cruelty?


Mask grew up an unlucky squid; in the beginning, he was diagnosed with hay fever, and was required to wear his mask at all times. Life wasn't easy for him, growing up with a mask stuck to his face. Many people just assumed he was an ugly kid. Others thought he was being abused by his own parents. (OK, I made that last bit up. The main point is that he has hay fever and needs his mask.)

Looking at all the other inklings around him. Running around, happy and cheerful, getting a lungful of fresh fresh air... It's just not fair! It's not! If he can't be happy, why should they!? NO! PEOPLE ARE SUPPOSED TO FEEL MISERABLE, LIVING IN THE DARK, GROTESQUE WORLD THAT PEOPLE DARE TOIL IN, THE WORLD THAT TOYS AROUND WITH THEIR EXISTENCE LIKE NOTHING, THE WORLD KNOWN AS: reality.


Emos aside, Mask actually gets along well with his teammates, who share his exact sentiments. I guess there's a corner of light even in the depths of Hell, isn't there? Anyways, Mask relies on his "Sub-Weapon Armageddon" to blow up the competition! He never swings his roller down... Kinda? Sorta? OK, he does, but what he lacks in lungs, he more than makes up for with his cunning wit, Sub Weapons, and overall creepy, yet determined drive to KILL EVERYTHING THAT DARES TO SMILE! ALL THOSE CUDDLY PONIES SHOULD DIE!!!!
