Short Bio:
Flowey is the deranged flower experiment created by Doctor Alphys in the Underground. He was once Prince Asriel, son of Asgore and Toriel before he and his adopted human brother tragically passed away. Flowey does not have the ability to love or show compassion to others, but desperately craves it. That desire is heavily masked by his insanity and innate boredom with his predictable life as a flower in the underground. Flowey did not travel to the surface with Frisk and the others and refuses to join them out of fear of both destroying their newfound happiness and knowing all too well that he won't be able to feel joy on the surface himself. Much of his role in the LOVE series is a mystery, but he will still be a pivotal character for the animated series, as he was in the game.
What We Are Looking For:
First and foremost, please do the best that you can with your Flowey voice. Do not stress yourself out into doing something that isn't comfortable in your vocal range. Flowey should have a voice that is distinctly young, but not childish. We are sure you've seen countless comic dubs and impressions on the internet, so we aren't strictly looking for a specific voice for Flowey outside of this. The biggest factor for this character is anger and insanity. We really need you to deliver these lines effectively, especially when certain scenes may call for it later in the series. Laughing wildly and freely is also a must for this character! When you are recording your lines, please keep in mind that we need to hear your natural voice for these lines with little to no edited effects. We already have a sound designer on the team who can edit sound effects for Flowey so that's not necessary in your audition. We don't want that hindering the judging process when we choose a voice for Flowey.
To help you better judge the lines for the character, here are a list of some positive and negative traits. It's pretty self-explanatory, but I think having a list still proves helpful for our current voice actors.

About the Lines
LIne 1: This is a piece of dialogue from the game. There are no real directions for this line. Just give us your best shot without having been given any direction. Keep in mind the expectations/requirements listed above!
Line 2: You can choose one of two of these dialogue pieces from the game. One is from Flowey's Story when talking to Chara, and the other is from when Flowey absorbs all six of the human souls. The only difference between these and the first line is that the producer/director has put a little more direction for you. If chosen, you'll be reading your lines from a script that will mostly look like this. You must follow the instructions given to you. So have fun with this one! If you feel like you can do both dialogue lines here, then be our guest, but just know that only one is needed for this line. Again, do your best, and keep in mind the expectations/requirements as listed above!
Line 3: This is an excerpt of what a script would look like, should you be chosen for this character. This is a short, non-canon excerpt written by the lead writer herself. Due to Casting Call Club suddenly changing their formats, we have had to adjust the layout of this particular line set. Please check the other main characters on this casting call to see what our format will actually look like. The dialogue piece is sort of a monologue, since it consists of Flowey berating the player (not Frisk) for attempting so many resets. All of Flowey's lines are boldened in the script. There will also be cues much like from the previous line that must be followed. However, please pay attention to the actions and descriptions listed in the parentheses as well. They may contain important actions from the characters that cannot simply be expressed in the dialogue lines themselves, so be careful not to miss that. Again, do your best and keep in mind the expectations/requirements as listed above!
Clever. Verrrryyy clever. You think you're really smart, don't you? So you were able to play by your own rules. You spared the life of a single person. But don't act so cocky. I know what you did. You murdered her. And then you went back, because you regretted it. Ha hahaha... you naive idiot. Do you think you are the only one with that power? The power to reshape the world... purely by your own determination? The ability to play GOD! The ability to "SAVE." I thought I was the only one with that power. But... I can't SAVE anymore. Apparently, your desires for this world override mine. Well, well. Enjoy that power while you can. I'll be watching.
(agitated) I wasted weeks with that stupid king, vainly hoping I would feel something. *low chuckle* But it became too much for me. I ran away from home. Eventually, I reached the ruins. *a wide smile* (gleefully) Inside I found HER, Chara. I thought of all people, SHE could make me feel whole again... *smiles weakly* (in disbelief) She failed. *laughs weakly before trailing off* Then I realized those two were useless. I became despondent. (steadily growing more and more upset) I just wanted to love someone. I just wanted to care about someone! *hesitates for a moment* Chara, you might not believe this... but I decided... *sadly shakes his head* (defeated tone) It wasn't worth living anymore. Not in a world without love. *smiles sadly* (quiet and sad) Not in a world without you... So I decided to follow in your footsteps. I would erase myself from existence. *scoffs then laughs* And you know what? (joyfully) I succeeded.

(very chipper) Howdy! It's me, Flowey. Flowey the Flower! (mockingly) I owe you a HUGE thanks. You really did a number on that old fool. Without you, (overly joyful) I NEVER could have gotten past him. But now, with your help (uncomfortably somber) he's dead. (proudly) And I'VE got the human souls! *cackles wildly* (chipper again) Boy! I've been empty for so long... it feels great to have a soul inside me again. Mmmm, I can feel them wriggling... *giggles then looks back at Frisk* (sarcastically) Aww, you're feeling left out, aren't you? Well, that's just perfect. After all, I only have six souls. (singing) I still need one more... (menacingly) before I become GOD. And then, with my newfound powers... Monsters. Humans. (shouting, and also drawn out) EVERYONE! (threateningly) I'll show the all the REAL meaning of this world *cackles wildly again* Oh, and forget about escaping to your old save file. (menacingly) It's gone forever. (sickeningly sweet) But don't worry. Your old friend Flowey has worked out a replacement for you! (sinister) I'll save over your own death so you can watch me tear you to bloody pieces... over, and over, and over... *cackles then stops abruptly* *looks down at Frisk* (still sinister) What? Do you really think you can stop ME? *giggles* (in disbelief) You really ARE an idiot.
(Nothing but the same black screen is shown at the end of the game. Suddenly, a small flower pops up from the ground. It holds the same feigned smile towards the player)
Flowey: (sarcastically) Well, here we are again. Alone in the darkness. Frisk and the others are free… (annoyed) and you’ve chosen to yet again waste your precious time with little old me!
(There is an unusually long pause from Flowey, as if to give this mysterious player some time to respond or reflect)
Flowey: So, how many times has it been now? Twenty? Thirty? Sixty? (mildly angry) Do you like being stuck in this limbo hell? Because I know for a fact that you’re not innocent. *snickers* Look at you… you’re exactly like me. Insatiable. (inquisitive tone) I wonder what paths you’ve taken. You’ve done this so many times, I bet you don’t even know why you’re here anymore…
(Again, there’s a pause, not as long as the first, but still unusually long. The silence is broken from a sudden outburst of maniacal laughing)
Flowey: *laughing continues then fades* Sometimes I wonder what exactly goes on in that stupid head of yours. (steadily grows louder and angrier over time) Did you ever have any shred of compassion? Do you think that there's something more for you here? What keeps you coming back reset after reset?
(Flowey stares out into the darkness as if waiting for an answer, knowing good and well that there will never be one)
Flowey: And what about Frisk and the others, huh? Do you like keeping everyone down here time and time again? What kind of game are you playing here?
(His twisted smile holds for a little bit until the silence grows. His expression then drops from elated to agitated)
Flowey: (upset) How annoying. It’s like I’m talking to nothing here. *a wicked smile comes across their face* (somber) But I know you’re there. *another pause* Sometimes I wonder if I should stop you… but I know there isn’t anything that I can do
(Flowey seems to be lost in thought, but only for a moment before raising his head back up to confront the player)
Flowey: *exasperated chuckle* (as if in revelation) …Are you here because you think you can save me? *laughs* If that’s the case then you’re stupider than I thought! How precious! *breaks out into even more laughter* Even after everything I put you through, you think that you can come back for me?
(Flowey stares into the darkness, waiting for a response, getting more and more annoyed by the silence)
Flowey: (growls) Tell ya what, idiot. If you want to help me so bad, then… *an awkward pause* then you should just kill me. (vexing) Yeah, I said it. Kill me! You and I both now how this'll end. (heavily breathing) I know you’ve seen it. We’ve been here countless times. (desperate shouting) Asriel is never coming back! So you’d better get that thought out of your puny little mind right now! (angrily shouting) I am not coming back! (quiet and defeated) …I don’t want to come back. The game… is over…

Thanks, I figured since Flowey is technically a child, he should sound a bit higher in register and more silly.
