Dr. Gloom is a mad scientist who loves anything gloomy (ranging from sad movies to rainy days and everything in between). In other words, he hates everything Light Fighter loves. Often having a more pessimistic view on life, Dr. Gloom plots every chance he gets to steal the Sparkle Spheres and use their energy for...something.
He is often very moody, and has been like this ever since his dreams were crushed by a peace-keeping organization from outer space...
Dr. Gloom can get annoyed easily, and can become enraged when REALLY pushed over the edge. Despite this, he has a weakness for yo-yos, as his first science/engineering project was a transforming robot yo-yo. The only thing that cheers him up is the thought of defeating Light Fighter, and—occasionally—getting revenge on that outer space police team.
But that one's more inclined to make him angrier.
In just a matter of months, my Dark Matter Patent Pending Energy Ray will wipe Light Pooper or whatever her name is from the face of the galaxy! *evil laugh*
Ever since I took off to space in the early years of my engineering career and stumbled upon the massive energy sources found within the Sparkle Spheres, Light Fighter's been up my tail to boot me back to Earth!
Completely destroying Light Fighter will be impossible, but I can put her through something much worse...
