In this story, Jason Todd is the reason for Batman's self-reflection. On a night like any other, Jason Todd made some calls that put both Batman and the criminals he pursued in more mortal danger than necessary. Upon receiving a scolding from the Dark Knight, Jason had to stay in Wayne Manor to reflect on his actions. But a bad choice by Bruce opens up an opportunity to Jason. In an attempt to follow up a lead that Batman chose to leave for later, Jason manages to track down a warehouse full of goons and a hostage. Jason manages to enter into the fray with few errors, but one slip-up got him knocked out. Next thing Jason knew, he was bound to a chair, with the Joker and Harley standing in front of him with huge smiles. The disgust on his face was obvious. And you know what happened next all too well. While Jason may be dead, the memory of his death is carried into the future, where Batman must wrestle with it in order to overcome his many demons.

Jason is fairly young at the time of his death. A young teen voice is best suited for this. No live-action counterpart, so go nuts on your interpretations!

Jason is extremely cocky. Not exactly egotistical (he's no Riddler) but definitely doesn't care for others if he thinks he's able to show off. He's focused on being a hero, but is still a kid seeking glory for his actions rather than comfort in the result of his actions. His impulsiveness should come across in his voice.

  • (Determined) I'm cutting around the truck. And don't tell me not to! It's gonna work; just trust me on this!

  • (Complaining) Maybe I wouldn't make these decisions if you weren't to control everything all the time! You always want it to turn out a certain way! You never just let things happen!

  • (Stubborn and bruised, to Joker and Harley) Fuck you.
