PocketTrouble!! Casting Round 2. (Comic Dubs, Ask videos and more.)
Meggie-Elise for Aastrid The Primarina
(Ah-ss-stid)
Gender: Female ♀️
Details:
Aastrid, as she's better know by her performer name "Hoku Kani, The voice from the Stars", is a professional singer and pop star who's main audience live in Alola.
She's quite the self-entitled pompous primarina though. She knows her rights and her status and won't stand for anything less than perfection. Although she does have a few cracks in her armor. Imagine Death The Kid levels of perfectionism here.
I'm thinking Azura from Fire Emblem Fates: https://youtu.be/Wc8YOPsqXNA
The ability to flip moods, going from a role model idol to a venomous viper on the turn of a dime, is pretty important for this role.
An Australian accent and being able to sing are definitely a plus! Not mandatory if your performance is strong enough but still.
*Slightly annoyed due to the ignorance of the person talking but stays calm and smiley, as if she was talking to a fan*
"So you do not know who I am you say? Oh dear old me. The local sensation Hoku Kani at your services. *Winks* Hope to see you at my next concert."
*Her concert's about to start, and really insignificant details are off... not stopping her from becoming more and more unstable.*
"So you could find it? Hahahaha~ What do you mean we don't have the taint of blue I asked for?! This show won't be the same without AQUAMARINE DRAPES!! *Inhales and exhales deeply, gaining an external serenity without losing any of the rage* Now you listen up ladies. You find the aquamarine, or I'll make sure that you'll never find a job in the industry for the rest of your lives, okay?~"
*Genuine fangirling and passion... until it goes overbearing*
" *Squealing* It's been so long! How have you been? Have you been eating properly? Proper health care is still a priority of yours, is it not? You haven't been hanging around questionable individuals, have you? HAVE YOU?!"
If i can, try listening to austrailian people talk
Thanks, Cole! I'll keep that in mind next time I re-audition. Isn't Australian a tangent off from Brittish?
Sort of, but there are very noticable differences in various pronunciations.
Okay, good to know! I guess I'll be working on my Australian this weekend. So... How about the voice? Did you like the voice in general, or do you think there is anything I could change? Besides the accent.
honestly, i think its spot on, put a little more spry spirit into it, and itll be golden
Will do! Thanks a bunch!!
