Merlin is an experimental tender engine who believes he has the power to turn invisible and has three funnels, who works at a big steelworks on the mainland from Sodor. For Islandside Adventures, he's one of the few engines that helps run the Bluthsburgh Steelworks and help make the steel deliveries all over Crotoonia.
