Hello there! I am looking for 2 voice actors, 1 female to play an adventure style documentary host and 1 male to play a cameraman. Hoping to cast and record ASAP, need to have lines turned in by 3/2.
This takes place in a urban fantasy world in which Lovecraftian horrors have emerged from beneath the surface of earth, causing people to wake up and start fighting back. The 2 characters will be exploring a newly surfaces Egyptian tomb when they get ambushed by several horrific entities.
These two characters will be used at first for a role playing session between a group of players as archival recordings they find in the game. Down the line, there is a chance this story could become an audio book or something even larger.

You are pretty good! I think there is an issue with your recording though? It just sounds like you are talking through a tube. This could be for a few reasons. 1) You haven't got acoustic treatment (foam/ moving blankets/ duvet over your head) 2) You are using the noise removal feature on Audacity. Sometimes in a pursuit to get rid of the noise, we end up over using the noise removal feature as that darned static just won't budge and it ends up slightly distorting your audio. If this is the case, use a Noise Gate plugin. The C3TV channel (the official CCC youtube channel) recently did a vid on it. It's 1000000x better than the noise removal function. If it's neither of these, I don't think I can help.
