When something smells, it's usually the Butz. It's a saying that Phoenix has kept with him for years ever since he was in Elementary School when he met Larry and Edgeworth. It has usually been true, much to Phoenix's dismay. He is kind hearted at best, but has bad luck and tends to get himself into trouble a lot. He is also a hopeless romantic who can't seem to land a relationship at all.
