(FEEL FREE TO REPEAT LINES IN YOUR AUDITION IF NEEDED, I don't mind how many times you repeat the lines in your recording, or how long the audition track is as long as you have fun with them, do your best, and say the lines how you want to present them)

Crane is a kind, nerdy and excitable tomboy who likes video games, cartoons and beating up bad guys.
She's also stubborn when she gets an idea in her head, reckless and a little bit impatient, but you can always count on her to stick up for her friends.
After accidentally running into a certain headless being of legend, she is mistakenly given strange 

and mysterious powers leaving her with a dangerous task and a perilous journey ahead. 

(she later meets her mentor named "Eldir" pronounced the same as elder)


For Crane, I'm looking for a light and energetic voice that can depict Crane's nerdy and excitable nature, but also show off her courage and valor. She's excitable, and wreckless, but she's also a great fighter that thinks on her feet! I need a lively voice that that's childish, but also gives a protagonist feel.

I added "extra lines"  just in case you wanted to add to the original line and try it out.  
They are NOT mandatory but just for fun! (^_^)( I'd love to hear you try that special line if you have a moment, if not, that's fine too)

Feel free to improvise lines! If you land the role, you'll have a great chance of  possibly being part of the webcomic dub I plan in the future as well!

And AGAIN, feel free to repeat lines and say it differently. You'll never know when you'll stumble upon a take that sounds better or more interesting

  • (open to interpretation) Things may get tough, but when push comes to shove, I just use my head!
    (extra line talking to herself) Ok Crane, let's just focus on the task ahead....I mean ahead. I MEAN AT HAND!  Ugh! oh great...now I  gotta watch out for head puns...

  • ((jokingly nudging Odin) Haha, Aww C'mon Odin, it's not THAT scary! (extra line) Try holding your own disembodied HEAD for 6 hours, now THAT'S scary. (pronounced (doo-la-han)     I'm still getting used to the whole dullahan thing.

  • C'mon Odin we gotta hurry! Eldir is gonna kill me if I don't make his next dullahan training session!
    (Special lines) Crane loves naming her attacks like in fighting games, so I need someone who's energetic and can have fun thinking up ways to shout these attack names. Go ahead and choose three or more attacks to have fun with! (Look up fighting game characters, anime special attacks, or even look at how Star from Star vs the Forces of Evil says her spells if you need reference! ) She kinda has a love hate relationship where she at times hates head puns, but she LOVES them in ONLY when they make awesome fighting attack names!
