  • Role Description: A massive, Tour-de-Force performance. One actor voices both the tragic host and all six distinct alter egos coexisting within his mind. The actor must seamlessly transition between a grieving, gentle father and a terrifying spectrum of animal personalities shifting tones, postures, and vocal rhythms on a dime as the masks and mind state switch.

  • Requirements: Exceptional vocal range, control, and endurance. Ability to switch instantly between soft weeping, predatory rasping, manipulative sweetness, and cold detachment.

The Personalities Within the Role:

  • Thomas Maylor (The Host): The grieving father who believes he is rescuing Annie.

    • Voice: Soft-spoken, trembling, sorrowful, exhausted, and desperately gentle.

  • The Huddman / The Goat (The Parasite): The cold, predatory entity hunting the child.

    • Voice: Cold, calculated, rasping, low, and devoid of warmth.

  • Ollie / The Deer (Innocence): The terrified child alter who pities the victim.

    • Voice: Apologetic, timid, hesitant, polite, slightly stuttered.

  • Barney / The Dog (The Flawed Protector): The blunt, rough protector trying to aid an escape.

    • Voice: Harsh, low, direct, gruff, but secretly empathetic.

  • Horton / The Pig (The Manipulator): The deceiver tearing down plans and playing mind games.

    • Voice: Overly sweet, smugly condescending, dropping suddenly into a flat, unforgiving tone.

  • Grimm / The Crow (The Memory Keeper): The archive tracking past victims and floorboard secrets.

    • Voice: Unflinching, cold, heavy with tragic certainty.

  • Elmer / The Cat (The Neutral Observer): The bored, curious alter open to trading secrets.

    • Voice: Smug, dismissive, quiet, bored, and superior.
