This is one of the smaller rolls in the show. But she will appear quite often in the series. This maid IS a WOMAN and she's extremely jealous of Zoe because they used to work together but somehow she became rich overnight and the maid got stuck in that dump. Though everyone see's her as just a maid, she's so much more than that and she tries hard to make sure everyone sees it. She's extremely sassy and confident. She knows she deserves more, and will stop at nothing to get it.
The maid speaks though if she were royalty herself. She's very well educated and in the tone of her voice, you can hear her confidence outshinning. Her voice is firm and slightly hard. She sounds very rude at times but it's only because she believes she deserves more.
I don't get it. Why does she get so praised? All she did was make some money. Suddenly she's gone from poverty to positively royal. It's absurd. I deserve just as much as she does and yet here I am scrubbing the dishes of their leftover caviar.
I retook the audition with more anger at the end and did it with two different voices just in case you needed a different voice!
