Their courage comes from continuing despite their fear. Moments of doubt, frustration, and exhaustion sit alongside brief moments of relief and hope.
The performance should make those emotions feel personal: someone trying to convince themselves they can get through this.
Lastly, the Player has moments where they become panick-y and angry - losing control over their emotions.
