Callum is in his late teens and is doing his best to be as good of a young man as he can be. He is extremely smart and tries his best to be patient and considerate. He spends a lot of time with computers, writing code.
We're looking for a polite, thoughtful voice for Callum.
Ideally we would have the option to work with the actor over Skype or Discord for some rehearsals before finalizing performances.
Please note - while the character is Australian, we would much rather have a non-Australian accent for them than a fake Australian one. We are an Australian production team and do not wish to comb through inauthentic accents. If you are not Australian, that is fine - just speak in your normal accent. You'll still be considered.
People of colour are strongly encouraged to audition.
"The speech recognition algorithm is going pretty well. I know there are better bits of software out there that do the same thing, but they're all proprietary and I don't want the Cortana Naval Fleet to come after us for infringement. [laughs nervously]"
[OMINOUSLY] "If you’re not dead, you will be soon. Landing here was a mistake, and you know it."
[ANGRY] "Enough! [pause] [continues quietly] Part of our family is already gone, don’t any of you dare disrupt the rest."
