Once known as Reed Richards, this world's Doom is a brilliant scientist whose life was devastated by the Maker's intervention. Now operating behind a mask and burdened by the knowledge of what was done to him and his world, Doom is one of the most intellectually formidable members of the Ultimates. He is deeply connected to the team's larger mission and carries a tremendous amount of emotional baggage beneath his reserved, serious exterior. His relationship with Tony Stark and his complicated history with the Maker make him one of the story's central dramatic figures.
