"The Beast of Darkness is the manifestation of Guts' wrath and bloodlust, born from the trauma of his experiences during the Eclipse and his intense vindictiveness towards demonkind. As an amalgamation of the swordsman's malice, it relentlessly attempts to overtake his mind. Whenever Guts dons the Berserker Armor, the Beast takes physical form through the fetish, granting him unnatural strength and ferocity."


To voice the Beast of Darkness you must convey many negative emotions all at once, to the point where it overwhelms the listener and they feel very uneasy. This will be the most creepy sounding role in the series as of now.

Imagine you are the literal physical manifestation of the endless sadness of a broken man, and you are reborn into unkindled rage. You become an embodiment of every negative emotion imaginable.  You're only desire is to watch the world burn. Nothing matters.

This voice will be heavily modified, but if you choose to provide some edits yourself please give two takes of the lines. One normal and one with your edits.

  • "At that moment, none will be able to stand in our way. You will be swallowed whole by me. May we run rampant with hatred and wild joy, an endless ecstasy so that these fangs will chew on the true light that burns us."

  • "Yield to me... everything... yield to me. You will yield, yield, yield, yield YIELD, YIELD, YIELD!"
