The part before it broke…I used to think if you cornered people they'd finally say it… Turns out they just get quieter.

Six months ago. Sat in your car. Cried for forty five minutes. Then went upstairs and pretended nothin’ was wrong.

Because I waited six years for somebody that already left…six years. Kept her toothbrush. Couldn’t throw it out. Every few months I’d almost do it. Then I’d put it back. Kept thinking maybe next week…six years.
