Luke Mercer is one of the main late-night presenters of Signal 17, a pirate radio station operating around Thorton, England, in 2005.
He is charismatic, confident and naturally comfortable behind a microphone. Luke enjoys joking with listeners, winding people up and pushing the boundaries of what can be said on air.
His personality changes somewhat away from the microphone. He can be more serious and perceptive when dealing with problems inside the station.
This role involves live-style radio presentation, casual off-air conversation and more serious recorded material. The audition should demonstrate that you can make scripted dialogue sound spontaneous and unscripted.
