April is a human friend to the turtles and has always been there to assist them on missions as needed. The turtles have been notorious for staying in the shadows and rarely visiting the surface world. When they finally did, they met many enemies. April is one of the few allies/liaisons that the turtles had. She showed them the good side of humanity and the cultural differences within the city. Thanks to her, the turtles make it their goal to protect humanity from certain threats.
But I'm not here to tell you what you know. I'm here to tell you what you don't know. I'm here to tell you that there are new threats rising. Powers beyond your understanding. (serious)
If the human race is to survive we need people like you to stand up and -- (serious)
