Character Description: Kenzie is an Ecologist that came from nothing—a tiny New York apartment, a foster upbringing, and a life spent just trying to get by. Joining the expedition feels like a second chance, a way to finally be part of something meaningful.
She’s excited, driven by the promise of discovery—of seeing prehistoric life with her own eyes, proving theories, and finding answers no one else ever could. It’s the kind of opportunity people would risk everything for.
But the reality is far from what she imagined. Like the rest of the group, Kenzie quickly learns they were never meant to be here—and that some discoveries aren’t worth the cost. This isn’t an opportunity—it’s a mistake. (Be sure to record at least 2-3 takes)

The sides they read from:
“I swear this apartment gets smaller every time I clean it. W-Where the—Where’s my coffee?” (She gets distracted with the news then turns away) “No, I just saw that mug—why is it always disappearing when I actually need it—” (The news switches to a missing girl that vanished a few nights ago as Kenzie isn’t paying attention anymore) “Ah, now for the creamer.”
“Okay… so not just dinosaurs. Entire ecosystems. Habitats. Atmospheric differences, floral succession, everything—But—Wait, Why twelve? Why not ten? Or twenty?”
(Running up a ravine side, and trying to keep her balance while be chased) “Wait! Daniel! Wa—” (Kenzie slips and makes a sound when her side hits the edge as she hangs on) “D-Daniel—! I’m slipping—my grip is—Daniel, I can’t—!”
