Doki Doki Literature Club -Full Fandub-
Draiku for Monika
The president of the literature club, and the only girl in the game who is not a love interest. She founded the club with the admirable vision of it growing and becoming an inspirational space for students. At the start of the game, Monika appears intelligent, composed and leader-like, trying her best to encourage the other members and letting on very few hints about her true nature. Underneath her facade, she has come to realize that her reality is virtual, running on a coded script. Monika is frustrated by her own irrelevance in the game, and willing to do anything to write a new ending.
[Confident] Okay, everyone! I think that's about it for today. I know the festival is coming up, but let's try to write poems for tomorrow, as well.
[Hopeful] Sorry, I didn't mean to say something weird! There are just some things I've been hoping to talk about with you... things I know only you could understand. So that's why-- [screen fades to black] wait, not yet! No! Stop it!
[Apologetic] Oh, jeez... I didn't realize the script was broken that badly. I'm super sorry! I'll make it up to you, okay? Just gimme a sec...
Optional: if you're a singer, include a sample! Can be any song.
Hah.. not really a singer but I gave it a shot. And I swear my mic sounds better, I'm just having some issues atm~
I really love this, especially the "not yet, stop it!" line! Amazing job! My only concern, however, is your mic quality. If you're having issues with it right now, is there a recording I can listen to that demonstrates the normal quality? Thanks so much!
Yeah totally, here's an audition from a project I'm in https://www.castingcall.club/auditions/387182
Definitely got my upvote, but I'd invest in a better mic if you're serious about doing these more often.
I could definitely use one. Any recommendations?
I'm not Zelen, lol, but what's your price range? If you don't wanna talk about this on a public comment you don't have to dw! Feel free to PM me or, I'm assuming, Zelen!
Ha, no worries. Probably anywhere under $100. I'm a broke child ;-;
The Samson C01U is one option! It's pretty cheap and an online friend of mine who sings says when she had one it sounded really great even though it wasn't as expensive as some other mics used in the community. Tbh, I'm not sure what you're using now but you can probably just look at mic reviews to get a good sense of whether people like them or not. I just wouldn't recommend buying a blue snowball, which you've probably heard of, because you can get way better mics for the same price.
Awesome, thanks. I'll look into it
Good Luck Fawkes!
