Why are you auditioning for a closed role?
I get excited and no did not pay attention to wether or not a role was open im aspiring to break on to the scene and in my haste and admiration for such a project forgot to apprehend other factors of requirements, my bad.
My advise for you is to always read a project description carefully, never just skim it. It boggles my mind that people don't read because the project might have you do something uncomfortable(this is also my way of weeding out people who are uncomfortable with being on camera) or have you sign your rights away so your voice and image will be used for A.I. I have rejected over 80% of auditions just because people are too lazy to read.
