The childhood friend of MC, and the vice-president of the literature club. Around MC, Sayori appears simple and happy-go-lucky, but in reality she is severely depressed. With the mindset that she shouldn’t burden others with her feelings, she does her best to make those around her happy when she can’t be. Even when the interest MC shows in the other girls becomes painful to her, she is selfless to the point of hating herself for feeling jealousy.
(Note: Sayori’s VA will not have lines in Act II, so this role is significantly smaller than the others)

[Bitter/Sad] But this... is just my punishment, isn't it? I'm getting punished for being so selfish. I think that's why the world decided to have you come over today. It just wants to torture me. Ehehe~
