I’m Ashborne Kin. I'm a voice actor, creator, and a published author (wrote a history book on Metal Gear history and lore). I'm also one of the main voices behind indie channels like Mystery Finery (playing roles like Oda Pickle, Python, and Shtirrit) that was a load of fun saying werid and wachy thing or just goofing off saying thinsg tha characters would never say for instance crocodile soup and all that was a great laugh i did at one point sitin booth for 17+ houes was fun tiring but a lot of fun eneded up goofing around tho saying stuuff and coming up with ideas like seagul soup aligater burger and all sorts if i rememeber right i think character got created from that just from a joke . Honestly, I got hooked on the idea of voice acting just from playing Metal Gear as a kid practicing snake voice at like 12 kept at it been over decade in snake freqency crom codec moment to even ordering mcdonalds as snake and a few other characters just cause it was funny
My bread and butter is deep-resonant gravel, heavy industrial grit, and advanced vocal textures like Scottish Industrial Kargyraa throat singing. I do intense character work, hardened archetypes, dark atmospheres, and lighter stuff when a project needs it. or snake freq from metal gear as love doing that one or a few metal gear characters
I record and engineer everything myself in Audacity using my own method to keep it clean and crisp. I'm not one for plastering on cheap effects, if that's what you're looking for, I'm probably not your guy. I use manual EQ loops, traditional hardware tracking, and I'll do as many takes as it takes until it's actually right. I love throat singing way too much, so I'm always pushing to hit deeper, grittier notes. Whether it's voice acting or Kargyraa, I'll spend the time to get it dialed in.
As an author and gaming historian, I know lore and pacing from the script up. Hit me up if you need real weight and raw texture behind your characters
