Before the Demons came to terrorize Kandrid, there were the Liberators of A.N.N.A. . A group of glorified raiders deadset on spreading their "revolution", forcefully conscripting anyone who can hold a rifle and sending the rest to labour camps (if they´re lucky).

Posing as the main enemy faction in the original Spirit Gems, they return in Sinner Gems to continue their stranglehold on their occupied areas.

Out of desperation to survive, a lot of them have decided to fight along side the Demons, making the situation for the few people left in their held districts all the more dire and terrifying.
