Maxim is a young man who had slipped into a coma when he was 19, during his coma, he started talking to an entity he nicknamed the Unknown, who told him about the upcoming rapture and that he needs to prepare himself for the worst.

Finally awake, Maxim left his homeland of Mexico behind to travel the Globe and learn how to best survive the rapture and defeat the Demon Kings.

After 7 long years, the Unknown´s warnings come to pass and Maxim finds himself escorting a small group of survivors into the colony of Lenore.

There, Maxim finds his uses by sharing his knowlegdge with his fellow sinners and becomes a critical part in the fight against the Beast´s Army.

Although he has a tough and rough outside shell, Maxim carries a heart of gold within him and he grows to like and respect the colony sinners.
However his overuse of foul language and goal to become the King of Hell turns many people off. But he takes it with humility. (At surface level at least.)

Maxim will technically not appear in Chapter 1, but rather Chapter 3.
However, he will be the narrator of his Journal, which poses as a small encyclopedia for the world of SINNER GEMS.
These will be little Mini-sodes so to say.
