A red fox with a cruel streak, he somehow managed to establish himself as a trusted friend of the Sovereign and secure himself a position as Ironthroat's right-hand man. He is scheming, conniving and ill-tempered, while outwardly seeming to be nothing more than a lazy, sarcastic curmudgeon content to eat prey that was dead anyway (spoiler alert: he really isn't).
Do you really think this is wise, O Mighty Sovereign?
