You're already ahead of 80% of the "actors" here(most of them are hobbyists who are ill suited for my project) because you read my project description and follow the audition instructions. You're also using a real picture of yourself (a professional headshot is always better if you intend to go professional) as opposed to the cringe anime profile pictures on this site.Keep the audition strictly to the slate and then the performance. An actor shouldn't need to make a promise to buy the equipment he lacks because he'll automatically be looked over for someone that is already prepared.

Performance wise, the laugh felt a bit forced. Make a choice on who you're talking to, the relationship you have with that person, and the motivation behind why you're saying these lines.
