(defensive/protective) “Leave him be! He probably had the vet take his claws.”
(determined/encouraging) "Seriously though, Crow. Jack won’t hurt you—not so long as Tiger, Mooch, and I are around.”
(confused, then confused as to why another character doesn't understand) “Oh, her? We call her Mama.”
