Emily
Voice Direction – Emily
Emily is a 16-year-old girl with a sweet, cheerful, and lovable voice. She is Bryan's closest friend and, at first, seems like one of the story's most important and trustworthy characters. She is playful, kind, and full of energy, making people feel comfortable around her.
Beneath that warmth, however, lies an impulsive, thrill-seeking, and emotionally unstable personality. She is easily swayed by her emotions and makes reckless decisions without thinking about the consequences.
During the sword tournament, she betrays Bryan for another boy, believing she has found someone stronger or more worthy. Her betrayal isn't driven by hatred, but by selfishness, immaturity, and the desire to follow her own emotions. Before she can defeat Bryan, she is killed, leaving behind guilt, confusion, and unanswered questions.
Performance Notes:
Bright, energetic, and natural at first.
Bryan's closest friend, with genuine chemistry and comfort.
When betraying him, don't sound like a stereotypical villain. She should sound conflicted, defensive, and convinced she's making the right choice.
She is impulsive rather than evil.
Even in her final moments, there should be a hint of regret.
close and kind friend : Hey, Bryan! You got this! I'll be cheering for you
Derogatory : Everyone... meet Bryan. The biggest fool I've ever known
Cruel and psychotic : You actually thought I liked you? You're pathetic. You can't even use magic
