The Knightfall series
J-Man for Brayan
Brayan
Voice Direction – Bryan
Bryan is a 17-year-old introverted boy with a warm, gentle, and sincere voice. He is naturally kind and always puts others before himself. He is the type of person who will help anyone without hesitation, yet never asks for help when he is the one suffering.
He speaks calmly and softly, rarely raising his voice. Even in difficult situations, he tries to remain composed. His kindness is genuine, but so is the loneliness he hides behind his smile.
Bryan fears being alone, yet constantly isolates himself to protect others. He carries his pain in silence and believes his own suffering is less important than everyone else's.
When pushed beyond his limits, everything changes. The calm disappears, replaced by a terrifying, almost monstrous rage. His voice becomes unstable, raw, and emotional—as if years of suppressed pain have finally broken free. These moments should feel rare but overwhelming, making the audience believe they are hearing a completely different person.
Performance Notes:
Young, soft, and natural.
Introverted and emotionally restrained.
Kindness should always feel genuine.
Hide sadness behind a gentle smile.
During emotional breakdowns, let years of buried pain explode naturally, not theatrically.
Humorous & kind: hey...Don't make that face. I like seeing you smile
Cold & Empty : Everyone leaves eventually... I've just learned to wait
Outbursts of emotion and crying : I WAS RIGHT BESIDE YOU! HOW COULD YOU PRETEND I WASN'T EVEN THERE?!
