Pearl has a good relationship with the others, but she gets jealous of Sylveon (Silvia) whenever she sees her with Umbreon (Black). She likes reading and learning new things. The only two times Pearl has hurt Black is when Silvia was going to teach Sunshine to learn Attract by trying to use it on Black, which ended up with Pearl quickly stepping in and jabbing Black's eyes with her dual-ended tail. Another time is when she threw Black into the boxes for kicking Speed in the face. After a long time, Pearl gave up her crush on Black and became more mature as time progresses and is responsible for herself. She eventually started to fall in love with Speed, and it is displayed when she kisses him at Chapter 5. She is mainly Sunshine's baby-sitter.
