Behind the jokes and excitement, Ned truly cares about Peter. He is the person who reminds Peter that he is not alone and that he doesn't have to face every battle by himself.

Whether he is helping from the sidelines, coming up with ideas, or accidentally getting involved in dangerous situations, Ned always wants to help his best friend.
