Description / Characteristics of this Role
Riley is Blair’s closest friend and one of the girls known around Westbrook High. She’s friendly, social, and always trying to stay on top of the latest drama. While Riley genuinely cares about Blair, she often follows her lead because she wants to fit in and maintain her place in the popular crowd.
Riley can be easily influenced by Blair and sometimes goes along with things she doesn’t fully agree with. She isn’t as intimidating as Blair, but she tries to act confident around others. Throughout the story, Riley’s loyalty is tested as she begins to question whether she’s following Blair because she wants to or because she’s afraid of losing her status.
Voice Type: Female, teen (16–17). Energetic, friendly, slightly nervous when alone, but confident when around Blair. Should be able to switch between bubbly/popular and unsure/vulnerable.
