She's about 25 to 35 years old, she used to live in a mansion with her family but decided that she didn't want that kind of life and she wanted to help ponies which is why she joined the guard. She became Royal guard in the Palace and was assigned to train a guard who volunteered out of guard school to become Princess Luna's house guard. Over time their relationship blooms and becomes something more.
