Jean Pierre Polnareff is a boastful but honourable and well-meaning Frenchman. Polnareff's most defining trait is his honour. In Vento Aureo, Polnareff has considerably matured and has become a serious and focused individual. His experience allows him to offer very needed counsel in the Modern Crusader's fight against Diavolo.

I recommend basing the voice off of Doug Erholtz's portrayal of Polnareff's voice. You can hear some of his work as Polnareff here & here. (Although, if you'd like to send in your own portrayal of the character, you're allowed to do so.)
