Phoenix is the father of Perseus, Triton, Orion, and Atlas. He favors Atlas because he despises his power and chooses not to use it. He’s constantly being harsh with Percy, because he is the oldest and should know better. He is very strict with his sons, he doesn't let them walk all over him like Azha lets her daughters do.
