Hellborn is a long and complex story seen through the eyes of the main character, Lillin, who is a demon noblewoman with an unclear past. Her world was corrupted when the demon king stole Satan's throne and disrupted the balance of good and evil, forcing her entire race into a strict aristocracy. She's pushed in multiple directions by fate but refuses to let herself be stifled. By breaking the rules and challenging norms she ends up on a grand adventure across multiple worlds, learning secrets she never couldve imagined, making new friends, learning about love and loss, tragedy and triumph. But she never loses her drive. She wants to change the world and set things right no matter what it takes, and she rises with the rebellion to do just that. Throughout the entire story she has one main internal conflict, "I know I was born a demon.. but.. Does that mean I have to be evil? Maybe I just want to be free! I'm not a monster! I'm just me!"
